Day 1 – Sárospatak & Vineyard Adventures
Sárospatak is a charming small town filled with history and attractions. During a 1-hour city tour between the wine programs, we’ll get a taste of the town’s unique atmosphere. Lunch is served on the restaurant terrace with sparkling wine and a beautiful vineyard view.
After lunch, embark on a vineyard tour by special jeep, exploring the rows of grapes while tasting both dry and sweet Tokaji wines. Our jeep is specially designed for vineyard terrain, allowing you to enjoy the scenery and the wines at the same time.
Next, we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage cellar rows, some of the most unique in the world. Those who wish can climb to the Hercegkút lookout, while our guide entertains with a fun Tokaj-themed quiz.
The day ends with wine tasting and a traditional local dinner in a 100-year-old cellar, featuring a selection of wines from dry to sweet, accompanied by our host’s expert recommendations.
Accommodation for the night will be in the cellar world area, with breakfast included the following morning.
Day 2 – Historic Cellars & Wine Discovery
The next day, we visit more than 100-year-old cellars, where we’ll taste the winemaker’s finest wines, from crisp dry whites to luscious sweet Tokaji.
